‘Mission: Impossible 7’ & ‘8’ Delayed

Guys, the impossible part is supposed to be a figure of speech.

Not even Ethan Hunt is immune to the coronavirus. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount has delayed the release of the next two installments in the Mission: Impossible franchise by several months each. It’s a real blow to the IMF.

Nonetheless, it now appears it will be impossible for the next two Mission movies — the seventh and eighth in the long-running Tom Cruise action franchise — to hit their original release dates. With production shut down because of the coronavirus, the films will now come out later than intended. Mission: Impossible 7 was supposed to open on July 23, 2021...

The Rise of Skywalker

The Rise of Skywalker

The RealD 3D poster for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has some major A New Hope vibes. This is the second poster of the day, following the epic IMAX version. Disney and Lucasfilm are bringing out the big guns for the early promotion and it looks like Star Wars fans are starting to get even more excited than they were before. Part of that excitement comes from The Mandalorian Disney+ series, which has been getting positive reviews from even the most negative fans of the franchise.

The RealD 3D poster for The Rise of Skywalker looks like it could have been made back in 1977 when A New Hope was released in theaters. We’ve got Kylo Ren and The First Order at the top, taking up the darkness of space, while the Resistance is below, led by Rey as she wields her Lightsaber...

Infinity War Reunites Hulk and Black Widow

Infinity War Reunites Hulk and Black Widow

A new deleted scene from Avengers: Infinity War finds Hulk and Black Widow reuniting. Bruce Banner and Hulk had some problems during the course of the movie. The Infinity Saga was recently released and is proving to be difficult for Marvel Cinematic Universe fans to track down. It is available from third-party sellers for an astronomical amount, so hopefully Marvel Studios will either make more, or at the very least, release a version that is not limited edition so that all fans can check out the deleted scenes from the MCU.

The new deleted scene from Infinity War does not have any sound, but one can see that Hulk was originally going to be in the movie...

‘Sister Act’ Musical

 'Sister Act' Musical

‘Sister Act’ Musical

Sister Act is clearly a hard habit to break.

(I’m very sorry.)

There’s really no way around the fact that watching top-to-toe clad, Rosary-wielding women of the cloth bounce from one spotlit cue to another is…just funny. Nuns have a long and illustrious musical theater history, into which The Opera House Players, Inc. is not afraid to lean with unabashed joy – and for that silliness, at the very least, this critic feels divinely blessed.

Next summer, Whoopi Goldberg is returning to one of her most famous roles, as lounge singer turned nun Deloris in Sister Act. This time, though, she’ll be doing it on stage, as part of a revised version of the Sister Act musical that played in London and on Broadway through the late 2000s and early 2010s. Today on The View,...

Rey with a double-bladed red lightsaber. The sound of Darth Vader’s labored breathing. An epic duel between Rey and Kylo Ren on what appears to be a piece of debris on a roiling sea...

Jurassic World 3

Colin Trevorrow is getting ready for Jurassic World 3 and he teased where it’s going. Additionally, the director commented on the original Jurassic Park cast rumors that have been circulating over the last few months. Trevorrow is returning to the franchise after J.A. Bayona directed last year’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which was a bit divisive amongst fans and critics. With that being said, it sounds like Trevorrow has something special planned for the third installment.

Jurassic World 3 isn’t set to hit theaters until 2021, so there’s still a lot of work that needs to be done behind-the-scenes before the cameras start rolling. Colin Trevorrow is already hard at work on the highly anticipated sequel and getting the story just right...
